Welcome! My name is Amanda O’Brien. I live in Portland, Maine and I love it. I started this blog as a New Year’s resolution to myself in 2011. I don’t have a major theme or even a plan, which is hard for me to admit as an Internet Marketer by trade. We are just going to see what happens. I am going to post once a week and I hope you find something here useful, funny or worth your time.

- In April of 2011 we found out Brody has bone cancer
- Since this blog has no direction, I will admit there are a lot of Brody posts
- Writing about this chapter in my life with Brody has been very helpful for me
- I love living in Maine
- I have unintentionally become a public speaker
- I grew up on an island off the coast of Maine
- I love my family
- I could live off ice cream and cheese
- I can’t bend my pinky without bending the rest of my fingers
- I am very patient, until I am not anymore
- I keep myself very busy
- I am an only child
- I am pretending to be a runner and have run 5 Half Marathons (so far)
